A structured pathway from first splash to NATC Squad. Every swimmer progresses at their own pace with qualified, DBS checked teachers.
Each level builds on the last. Swimmers are assessed by their teacher and move up when they are ready.
First splashes in the water — safe entry and exit, blowing bubbles, floating with support and feeling happy in the pool.
Floating unaided, pushing and gliding, and kicking to travel through the water with growing independence.
Early front crawl and backstroke actions, first breathing patterns and short swims without aids.
Building recognisable strokes over longer distances, with treading water and underwater confidence.
Swimming further in front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke, with dives and sculling skills introduced.
Water safety and survival skills, swimming in clothes, endurance sets and race starts.
Tumble turns, butterfly, lifesaving skills and long-distance swimming across all four strokes.
Our top level — squad training for swimmers who have completed Level 7 and want to keep developing technique, stamina and race skills.
